Joss Stone steps into footwear
Nine West shoe collection will incorporate singer's tattoo designs.

Joss Stone is stepping into a new arena.

The Boho-chic singer will collaborate with shoe retailer Nine West for a footwear capsule collection hitting stores at the end of August. It will be part of the Nine West Vintage America fall 2010 line of shoes. (Let's all pretend we don't know that Stone is a Brit and often goes barefoot onstage.)

Fans of the Grammy-winning artist — let's call them Stoners — can pre-order the shoes in late July at NineWest.com (click on "Pre-order Shop"). The neo-hippie collection will retail between $70 and $120.

The singer said she drew inspiration from her tattoos.

"Each of my tattoos holds a very special meaning for me," she said in press materials. "I love that the Nine West Vintage America collection ... will incorporate some of my unique tattoo designs to give the line an even more personal connection."

Part of the proceeds will benefit Soles4Souls. The philanthropic singer donates a large part of her time off to charity work.

This is the first time I get called a stoner

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this. I mean, I'm like 'ok, fine'. This doesn't get me overly excited, but it's still nice. I can't believe we've never before been called Stoners
